This infrared element contains the CE marking. The CE marking indicates conformity with the relevant European safety directive(s). Please read this notice fully before operating the heating element.

• Ensure that the heating element is NOT operated at a supply voltage in excess of the rated voltage marked on the heater.
• Publish a warning that the heating element is HOT in use.
• Replace broken or partially broken heating elements immediately.
• Protect from physical damage and exposure to water or chemically corrosive substances
• In the case of quartz medium wave heating elements, ensure that:
     a)  The heating elements are mounted horizontally and perpendicular to the direction of movement if relevant.
     b)  The temperature of the aluminized steel body does not exceed 500ºC
• In the case of ceramic long wave heating elements, ensure that the surface temperature of the heating element does not exceed
   750ºC under any conditions.

The operator is 100% responsible for the operating conditions of this heating element.  While the manufacturer gives a warranty of 5000hrs or 12 months after date of purchase, interfering with heating element will negate all guarantees.  For details on installation please see:  www.ceramicx.com
